Arrangement on content page

I have been looking for ways to organise my content page . I need to rearrange my images and text on the page. I founf Kerrangs content page and I really like the way it is organised . It is slightly like mine already but by looking at it I think I will need to rearrang my photos on the left two thirds of the page leaving the right third to be a larger contents page . I think this will work well and more text will stop my content page from looking as plain.

Ideas for developed magazine subcription offers

As I need a better subcription offer on my contents page I played around on Photoshop creating a few ideas of basic subcriptions that I might use . The colours I used were bright and colourful , eye catching colours that readers will remember after they see it . I also used a photo of my front cover to show ownership and relating it back to the magazine itself . It is a good technique to keep repeating the magazine brand name throughout as it will hopefully be embeded in the readers heads , but without being to in their face . Magazines like Kerrang use an image of their front cover on their subscriptions and Kerrang receives most its profit from internal advertising in the magazine.

Rearranging my content page

Tonight I will look at contents pages to see the arrangement of photos and text on them . I need to fill in a blank space and I will do this by rearranging my images and adding a bit more text.Hopefully looking at them will give me some ideas and help me on the layout of my magazine.

This is a developed idea of my double page . At this point I am developing an article to include in my magazine along with maybe another full body image to feature on the left page.

Secondary Research

Before I write my article in my double page spread I will look at some examples and look at the content they include , vocabulary used , headings used , layout and hopefully find some ideas for magazine conventions that I can use in my own magazine.

Mock Magazine Front Cover

This is a mock up of a basic front cover. It includes selllines,puffs and other conventions that I needed to use for my front cover. Looking at it now I will need to construct better,more intriging sell lines that will attract my target audience more.

I used one of the photos I had taken and uploaded it onto my previous draft.I like this photo and it works well with my draft. However some colours of the words  will need to be adjusted and  tracking and leading corrected.
